musée du louvre

Saturday, October 23rd, 2010

I learned that the Tuileries are the largest and oldest public park in Paris. The gardens were an integral part of the palatial scheme created by the kings of France. Its landscaping and sculptures provide the perfect complement to the Louvre.

eiffel tower

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010

After work, I went to go see the Eiffel Tower, finally!

First, I grabbed nutella crepes on the go. YUM!

The last time I was here was with Andrew about 10 years ago. I hope to come back with the kids next time. It's pretty amazing…

The little souvenir Eiffel Towers lit up the streets all around. Pretty.

I ended up getting lost for about 2 hours after that. I walked around, took a bus to a wrong direction, and came back to my hotel almost around 11 pm. starving… Had hotel chocolate for dinner.

But the best part was that I got to see the light show three times in one night. :)

aimer paris…

Saturday, October 16th, 2010

I'm in Paris for the next ten days for a business trip. It's tough being away again from my kids but thankfully three of my close friends are accompanying me (for the first three days) so I'm not too sad… We arrived on a red eye this morning and we headed straight to Champs-Élysées and walked around all day. More pictures to come…

We finally got together with the Mun family at New York Hall of Science in Queens. I was very impressed with its 3 levels of fun, interesting, educational and interactive exhibits.

The kids also loved the outdoor space with slides, climbing nets, flowing water and a hill to roll down.

Chloe didn't want to come down by herself.

So the boys cheered for her, waiting on the other side.
